Maintenance Planner Salary Highly Neg.

Tertiary technical qualification in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical)
5yrs related industry experience, including 2 years preventative and predicative maintenance planning experience
Project planning and execution experience
Specialised knowledge in PLC, instrumentation and drive systems                           Provide and support maintenance supervisor with multi- disciplinary technical know- how, such as mechanical, electrical, electronic, functioning of equipment, etc
Provide special reports on Technical/ Engineering concerns, specifications, standing instructions and procedures
Plan and co- ordinate shutdown work
Define and approve work schedule with regards to major maintenance tasks, e.g. overhaul, relocation, modifications, etc
Approve spare part purchases and stores stock holdings
Initiate and implement continuous improvements to plant, machinery, equipment and services and set standards for upgrades/ new equipment
Monitor maintenance schedules and systems and determine corrective actions
Analyse major plant stoppages and breakdowns
Evaluate efficiency reports with regards to performance standards and determine corrective action
Plan annual manpower, overhead, routine, non- routine and capital budget requirements, monitor monthly performance and institute corrective action where necessary
Advice management on potential safety and fire hazards and remedial measures with possible engineering solutions
Update and maintain asset inventory registers
Apply FMEA techniques, advise on the most suitable maintenance routines
